Pasadena, CA 1/01/06- QN4U BBQ Team has once again demonstrated their barbeque prowess with a solid showing that earned them the title of "Grand Champions" at the 2005 Tournament of Roses State Barbeque Championship at the Pasadena venue this week. This is the 7th Grand Championship title QN4U has captured in their quest to be the best at BBQ. QN4U won last years' inaugural event. Brent & Kim Walton a Husband and wife team from Clovis, Ca. were among the 22 teams that participated including some as far away as Texas for the coveted title. Smart & Final along with help from Gene Goycochea of "The California Barbeque Association" (CBBQA) worked to bring this event to the Rose Bowl. This event was filmed by the food network for a show to be aired this summer. The CBBQA raised about $1,500.00 for Charity as well selling the prized BBQ samples to a hungry public. "BBQ has really taken off with the advent of the food network, and it seems the public can't get enough" Brent Walton of QN4U said it "was a perfect end for a great year!"
