QN4U 2nd PLACE BRISKET!! YES!! We actually tied for 1st Place with John Ross from Kansas City (Smoke & Mirrors) but with a computer generated tie breaker, we get second place. Happy that we scored so well as brisket has been a tuff catergory for us.--That Dr. BBQ Class did help!-- some one pointed out that we had the highest score of all the California teams(some good one too) therefore we had the best brisket in California! Pretty confaluted logic but suppose its one way to look at it in the best light.
